5 Minute's With @sarah_cant

·
Hello lovelies, hope you had a good week. Tonight, we are talking all things girly with Instagram style queen Sarah Cant. If you don’t already, you can follow her @sarah_cant for some glamorous inspo.

In this interview Sarah shares her fashion tips and lets us in on some top secrets about how she keeps her skin glowing 24/7!
LBD: We love your Insta feeds. How would you describe your style?
SARAH: I tend to go for neutral colours and basic styles but recently I have been trying to experiment with more prints, I am loving all of the palm print and striped pieces that have been big this summer. I would definitely say my daytime style is quite simple but I like to go for more detailed pieces on an evening, love dresses with a little bit of embellishment.

LBD: We love neutral tones! Is influencing/blogging your full time job?
SARAH: No, I’m currently interning with the marketing team for one of my favourite brands Boux Avenue and I am going back to University in September to study a Masters in Organizational Psychology. I do love blogging and would definitely consider doing it full time if the opportunity ever arose in the future, but I am happy at the moment perusing my career in Psychology.
 SARAHS TOP BEAUTY TIPS

YOUR NEW SKINCARE MANTRA: CLEANSE, TONE AND MOISTURISE!
SARAH: Skincare is so important to keeping a glowy base. Be sure you only reach for the dreaded make up wipes if it has been a seriously heavy night! I really like soap and glory skincare products, they are super affordable, the Peaches and Cream, Deep Cleansing Milk is an absolute must have! I always try to have at least one makeup free day a week to give my skin a break!

LBD: What has been the most exciting event you have attended as a blogger/influencer?
SARAH: The Boux Avenue AW16 launch was definitely the most exciting event I have attended! The venue was stunning and the event attracted some fab celebs including the Made in Chelsea girls, Chloe Lewis, and my favourite Lucy Mecklenburgh! Boux really know how to throw a party and we ended up being the last ones to leave, fully kitted out with the goody bags full of gifts!

LBD: What would be your go to outfit for a day date with the girls?
SARAH: My go to outfit for a day date with the girls would definitely be plain white culottes, mules and a simple top or jumper. I feel like I have never had my Zara culottes off this summer, they just work with everything, definitely a wardrobe must have!

LBD: We love culottes! What was the last thing you bought?
SARAH: The last thing I bought was yet another swimsuit from Zara, it is such a lovely floral print with knotted sides. I have absolutely loved all of the new swim styles this year, H&M, Zaful and Missguided have really killed it!

LBD: Do you think it is possible to be stylish on a budget? If so, what would be your tips.
SARAH: 100%!! There are so many amazing high street stores which allow people to keep up with trends on a budget. Zara are so good for this and are constantly bringing in new styles so there is always something new and exciting to try. Online retailers like Missguided and Boohoo are also great to go to for a specific items of clothing like a basic midi dress or jumper.
